Brief outline about our nursery...
Little Learning Ladder’s primary focus is to provide all of our children a home away from home feeling, where they can develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. We pride ourselves on preparing the LLL children for their next step on the educational ladder, in a happy, secure, stimulating and caring environment, where every child will be known for their individuality which makes them unique.
Little Learning Ladder (LLL) is a family run nursery near to Manchester City Centre, we offer childcare to children from the age of six weeks up to primary school age, plus our Afterschool and Holiday Clubs. The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 7pm, 52 weeks per year only closing on Bank Holidays.
Our setting is based within the Iconic Chips building in Ancoats/New Islington, the setting is surrounded on three sides by the Canal and benefits from floor to ceiling windows that provides a bright and airy ambiance, picturesque views and the sense of the outside inside. For those with limited mobility, the setting can be accessed with ease via ramps to the exterior and the use of lifts to enable access to all areas of the nursery.
Little Learning Ladder considers the safeguarding of our children and team members paramount which is why the entire nursery is monitored by recorded CCTV, this includes all rooms with the exception of toilets and baby change room for safeguarding reasons, corridors and exit points. Our setting also benefits from an onsite Defibrillator meaning we can react quickly in the unlikely event of a life threatening Emergency.
Whether you live locally or commute in to Manchester for work; LLL is ideally situated with fantastic transport links. We are adjacent to the New Islington metro station that is accessed via a footbridge, a bus stop situated directly outside and ample car parking is available in the Pay and Display car park which offers cheap hourly/daily/weekly rates. With both Piccadilly and Victoria Train stations just a short walk away, we couldn’t be more accessible.
